We sincerely hope you've had the chance to indulge in all of your consumer fantasies and spend every last cent in your savings account this holiday season. Isn't that what holiday spirit is all about? No? Well, you could have fooled me!

Granted, Christmas isn't everybody's favorite time of year, and it seems as though there has been a lot of cynicism about it as of late. On the other hand, some freaks people absolutely love it and even plan for it months in advance of it ever happening. For example, light shows have gone beyond house decoration in recent years. Entire parks are now lit up and synchronized to a variety of songs.

One thing most people can agree on is presents. I hope my family has been reading my posts; otherwise I'm going to end up with a year's supply of socks (yes, 365 pairs!) all over again. Trust me, I don't need any more! And what's with this "give to charity" crap? Give me my band merch!
